Vinha e preparação

Tamanho
41 hectares.
Idade
53 anos.
Clima
Colheita
A vindima decorreu de 7 a 29 de setembro.

Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Nice plummy aromas of dark cherries, strawberries, dried herbs and refined spices. Juicy and expressive on the palate, with round, fleshy fruit and fine-grained tannins. Still fairly structured but fruit-forward at the same time. A blend of 63% merlot, 29% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc, 2% carmenere and 1% petit verdot. Drink from 2026.

Decanter:

Fragrant and rich red and black cherries on the nose, smells deep and heady. A touch of plushness to the expression, chewy, pillowy tannins create a wide mouthfeel with almost sweet, juicy acidity that is so welcoming. There’s still tension though, this isn’t one dimensional and I love the lift on the finish. Plump and generous. Dark fruit, cherries and bramble berries. Has a real richness without the weight. I like this a lot. No excess.

The Wine Advocate:

Fleshy and charming, the 2023 Pastourelle de Clerc Milon bursts with aromas of cassis, pencil shavings and violet, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, supple and lively palate, concluding with a gently chalky finish.
