The Wine Advocate:

The 2020 Jirón de Niebla is the most delicate and palest of their reds. It comes from vines in the north-facing paraje El Sotillo from Burgohondo, a shady zone with sandy soils that is mentioned on the label and is one of the parajes approved by the appellation. It was a long harvest, and they could pick the grapes at their peak. They used more full clusters, perhaps 40%, and matured exclusively in concrete and Flextank eggs. It's aromatic, floral, clean, elegant and expressive, serious, and it reflects the cooler place and the granite soils. It has 13.5% alcohol, very good balance and a sense of purity and elegance. 4,867 bottles were filled in July 2022.

There is a nice chalky edge to the red cherries, pomegranate, spices, stemmy herbs, hibiscus and white pepper. Medium body on the palate with lovely tension and vertical tannins. Serious structure. Drink now or hold.
