Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

A tender yet precise Ribera from a single 1.9-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone soils planted at 902 meters above sea level. This has a very tender nose with red fruit, chalk, underbrush and aromatic herbs. It is focused, precise, transparent and crystalline. Made with 50% whole cluster with pigeage and the rest destemmed. It has a subtle structure. Chalky and stimulating to taste. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2024 Parcela Casablanca comes from one single vineyard, one that they consider to be at the top of the hierarchy in their classification of the places within their vineyards; it's an east-facing plot within the Valdiruela Valley on the way toward the moorland, from which they selected only 0.9 hectares, the part higher in altitude (884 meters). This is a place with more limestone ("casablanca" means "white house" and refers to a sheep shed in the zone that was built with the white mother rock from the zone). The grapes fermented with 50% full clusters and indigenous yeasts and were foot trodden. The wine matured in 2,500-liter oak vats for 12 months. It has a note of licorice mixed with the aromatic herbs and flowers from the place (which was beautiful and full of poppies in June 2026). It has the signature and fine, chalky tannins, with a medium body and supple flavors, balanced and fresh. This has 13.1% (lower than the 2023), a pH of 3.41 and 5.2 grams of natural acidity. 4,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2026.
