From a parcel in Rugiens-Hauts that Boillot has vinified before, the 2023 Pommard 1er Cru Rugiens exhibits notes of plums and sweet cherries mingled with hints of rose petal and creamy oak (it was fermented inside barrels). Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's lively and refined, with the more ethereal, less massive profile typical of this part of the vineyard.
