Vinhas plantadas na localidade de Mambrilla de Castrejón, em Burgos.

Solo
Areia, cascalho e argila-limosa.
Clima
Continental. Verões secos e invernos longos e rigorosos, com mudanças de temperatura bem acentuadas ao longo das estações.
Colheita
Vindima manual em caixas de 15 quilos.
Vinificação
Selecionado na mesa, desengace antes da fermentação, 25 dias em barricas novas de 400 litros abertas e 3 pisadas diárias a uma temperatura de 27 ºC.
Envelhecimento
Cerca de 16 meses em barricas de carvalho francês (95%) e americano (5%).

Decanter:

Ripe, intense forest fruit, fresh lavender and rosemary aromas combined with touches of liquorice, smoke and sweet spices. The elevated fruit is perfectly balanced by the oak influence and the beautiful tannins, powdery and gently rustic in a very appealing way. Full-bodied, concentrated and persistent. Still young, a bit tight on the mid-palate; will no doubt benefit from further ageing.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2022 Celia, which comes in a Bordeaux bottle, has a more serious and austere profile than the more voluptuous and showier Inés from this same vintage that is presented in a Burgundy bottle. It's sourced from vineyards with mostly Tempranillo but also 7% Garnacha, which seems to give it an elegant touch. It doesn't lack ripeness, coming in at 15% alcohol, but feels balanced, and the oak is neatly integrated—it spent 16 months in 400-liter barrels and a further three months in 2,000-liter foudre. This is serious and with aging potential. 2,000 bottles and 60 magnums produced. It was bottled in June 2024.

Tim Atkin:

Named after Juan Carlos Vizcarra's daughter, who is also involved in the winemaking, this is a full-bodied cuvée of Tempranillo and Garnacha with plenty of almost entirely new French and American oak. Firm, dense and compact, it’s a wine to tuck away for a few years to allow it to evolve and soften. Blackberry, damson mocha and coconut flavours are supported by sturdy tannins and refreshing minerality. 2028-35.
