Vinha com certificação de agricultura biológica desde 2011, tendo sido o primeiro Premier Grand Cru Classé de 1855 a obtê-la.

Entre os 35 e os 40 anos.
Colheita
Vindima manual.
Vinificação
A fermentação decorre em barricas novas, de uma utilização e de duas utilizações, com uma duração que varia entre três semanas e dois meses, consoante a colheita.
Envelhecimento
Estágio entre 18 e 24 meses em barricas de carvalho francês, 100 % novas. Apresenta 130 gramas de açúcar residual por litro.

James Suckling:

This is really something, with such depth of fruit, layered phenolics and intense botrytis character. The dried mushroom dust on the palate is so intense and textured. Very sweet at the end, but fruity and framed. From organically grown grapes. Real Sauternes. 65% semillon and 35% sauvignon blanc.

The Wine Advocate:

A blend of 65% Sémillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc, containing 130 grams per liter of residual sugar, the 2023 Château Guiraud is vibrant and expressive, revealing aromas of apricot, exotic fruits, spices, white flowers and pineapple. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and deep, it is finely balanced, built around a lively core of fruit and defined by a beautifully judged, gastronomic bitterness that brings energy and precision to the finish.

Decanter:

Sweet and thick, this is unctuous and filling with the sweetness offset slightly by the acidity but this leans into full noble rot with nuttiness, bitter tropical fruit and citrus tang. This has a great drinkable aspect to it, so moreish and tasty, you just want another sip straight away. Delicious.
