Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The 2024 Tormenta still has a couple of grams of unfermented sugar. It's a very special vintage: it took almost two years to finish fermenting. Hail affected the vines, the yeasts were possibly weaker, and the fermentation was troublesome. The wine was put in barrel with 12 grams of unfermented sugar, and it took a long time. It has a pH of 2.79 and didn't go through malolactic fermentation. It was in oak and later in chestnut barrels that are gentler with the wine. It's a very scarce year—there are less than 1,500 liters. She's probably going to keep the bottles and release them in a couple of years. It has 12.3% alcohol and 11 grams of acidity, crazy parameters. It has a bright, almost fluorescent yellow color and a nose of hay and straw. The palate is vibrant and sharp, really a different profile with very strong acidity. The two grams of sugar are completely unnoticeable; it's really balanced by the high acidity. This was still unbottled, and after the longer fermentation, the volatile acidity is still quite low. The wine is fresh and not oxidative. This is not yet bottled. She only has 1,500 liters. This could be a special bottling. It is special indeed.
